Overturn ("Service", "we", "us") provides an AI-powered document generation tool that creates appeal letters for insurance claim denials. The Service analyzes denial letters, researches clinical evidence, and generates customized appeal documents.

2. Not Legal or Medical Advice

Overturn is a self-advocacy tool, not a law firm, medical practice, or patient advocacy organization.

  • The documents generated do not constitute legal advice or legal representation
  • The documents generated do not constitute medical advice or a medical opinion
  • We do not guarantee any outcome for your insurance appeal
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and submitting any document generated by the Service
  • We recommend consulting with a licensed attorney or patient advocate for complex cases

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Case analysis and scoring are provided free of charge
  • Appeal letter generation costs $19.00 per letter
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe
  • All prices are in US dollars

4. Refund Policy

Refunds are not available once an appeal letter has been generated, except in the following cases:

  • A technical error prevented delivery of the letter
  • The Service was unable to generate a letter due to a system failure

To request a refund, contact us at support@overturn.dev within 30 days of purchase.

5. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your insurance denial
  • Review all generated documents before submission to your insurer
  • Not use the Service for fraudulent purposes
  • Not redistribute or resell generated documents

6. Data and Privacy

7. AI-Generated Content

Documents generated by Overturn are created using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI-generated content may contain errors. Clinical evidence cited in appeal letters is sourced from PubMed (National Library of Medicine) and can be independently verified using the provided PMID numbers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Overturn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of insurance coverage, denial of appeals, or any other outcome resulting from the use of our Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific document in question.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
